Jeff McGill is a respected researcher, teacher and consultant in the areas of management science and operations management. Prior to completing his Ph.D. in Management Science at the University of British Columbia, Jeff worked for over eight years in industry; first, in new product development with Domtar Limited Research Centre (Montreal) and, later,in operations research at CNR. He maintains an active research program with a focus on revenue management in the service industries and statistical methods for market demand forecasting. He has presented numerous papers on these topics at conferences throughout the United States and Canada, and has published articles in the journals Management Science, Transportation Science, Operations Research, Communications in Statistics, The Quarterly Journal of Business and Economics and The Annals of Operations Research. Jeff is an Associate Editor of the journal Transportation Science and a member of the Canadian Operational Research Society and the Institutes for Operations Research and Management Science.
